It's funny how much more work it took to get our business all set up here in Maine. Besides our Lawyers, CPA's, Business Advisors and meeting locals to get the skinny on how running a small business here in Portland is, we are super stoked. So we are now an LLC here in Maine, and ready to start shooting!
We have a great studio back in Colo., but now we need to find a shared space, or a cheap to buy studio. We need 13ft+ ceilings, updated electrical. No bigs! lol
We are in full swing and networking with realtors, and business peeps for headshots, website development and graphic design.
Last month we blogged about a client who posted one of the most rad comments about our creative touch up process. We wanted to show a before and after image. This Frame was a middle frame, but we loved the connection so much, that we put in some great detailed work on the image. By shooting our very expensive cameras and lenses we are able to capture a lot of information that you can't see in the before. We bring that information out and it helps balance test shot with as we were adjusting the lighting to the frame after this one.
Let me also say that we aspire to make people 1) Fall in love with their photo. 2) Listen to people's concerns about themselves. 3) Strike a balance between natural and blemishes that are caused by lack of sleep, dry/oily skin, or a bad hair day. :) Anything permanent unless we get asked to remove, gets left on.
