Devil's in the Details.. Wait.. Nope That's Just the Photographer!
Yesterday was definitely one of the business days for shooting I've had. From 8am to 5pm I shot almost the entire time with several different styles of shoots. I was still working with the Hasselblad H5D 50C and wanted shot all of my shoots with this amazing medium format camera. This Frame from my mid-morning shoot is a 100% zoom that caught my eye as I was culling through images for my client Amy's Best Cookies in South Portland Maine.
One thing I am known for is my sharp detail, so much so that you usually see me in the eyes of my portrait clients. The fact that I am in this image shows that even with this amazing camera it also gives a story documenting Amy's process of making the most delectable cookies this side of the Mississippi. We shot a documenting of her process, and then we took a a couple cookies back to the studio to play around with just some simple cookie images. I haven't looked at that images too much, but I will say working with a Medium Format camera was not only amazing but it was a challenge to to adjust my creativity and science of photography. Can't wait to get these images edited and online for all her following to see. If you haven't had her cookies, you may just want to get a glass of milk ready, and sit down in a rocking chair next to the fireplace.
