CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING | RAIN OR SHINE
I don't know why they say rain or shine since you would never have a Christmas tree lighting in the day time... hmm - either way it was an amazing time and so blessed that we all only got soaked and not drenched.
Between the Hood Dairy FREE eggnog and all the people of Portland Maine, the love that flows out of this city is just rad! It was raining out and so I had to have the slickers on the camera, and not nearly as many people showed up to the even this year. The people who did come out see this wonderful Christmas tree infectiously lighting the city came out over about a 2 hour period. They would pop in to take pictures next to the amazing tree and then peaced out! Last year was short of spectacular since we only had a light wind, but this year with the water sprinkling down on us, it left no doubt this year is still as magical as ever before. I mean I live on the ocean, I have a studio downtown, and what more can I ask for. This city is truly humbling to be.
I took about a 3 rolls of film worth of frames in about 10mins and think you'll just love these! Artistic to the core.
