I'm a visual learner and very hands on. Maybe you are the same. This will be the shift you need to learn that eye of yours!

Around here snowy morning means inside creativeness. After grabbing some Bam Bam Bakery treats from Old Port (Portland) Maine to bring back for some food photography practice. I thought I would put together to show the differences between angles and how they play on your eyes and emotions.

The right angle can take something from boring to something mouth watering delicious.
I set up the plate, made the espresso with my decent latte art, and then sat it down. I never changed the position of the plate and mug, but rather changed my shooting position to create something of a unique perspective. Whether you are a fan with shooting your food or latte art with your iPhone or you are a dslr wielding junkie this should give you nothing to "chew" on. Post your best image of your food from this week and tag #SurJones
